Baier confronts Trump: ‘You lost 2020 election’

Fox News anchor Bret Baier engaged in a fiery interview with former President Donald Trump this week, challenging his claim of winning the last presidential election.

The intense exchange occurred when Baier questioned Trump about his strategy to win back independent suburban women voters who had firmly rejected him in the past.

“First of all, I won in 2020 by a lot, ok? Let’s get that straight,” Trump asserted. “I won in 2020.”

Baier swiftly responded, “That’s not what the votes show.”

Trump then alleged that fraudulent voters had tampered with the ballot boxes, and brought up Twitter’s suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop news and the claims of former intelligence officials regarding misinformation.

“You lost the 2020 election,” Baier stated, adding, “Recounts were conducted in all swing states, and there was no significant widespread fraud.”

“There were investigations into widespread corruption, but no evidence was found,” Baier continued. “Your lawyers filed 50 lawsuits, some in front of judges you appointed, and none of them produced any evidence.”

When pressed again on how he plans to convince independent suburban women voters to support him, Trump deflected, saying, “No, no, no, we’re on our way to winning an election, and I believe we’re doing very well.”
