Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Iran doesn’t appear to be willing to restore the 2015 nuclear deal, as proposed by the Biden administration.

During a meeting with the Israeli foreign minister on Wednesday, Blinken admitted Tehran has continued to enrich uranium to 60 percent as it develops new nuclear technologies. He added time is running out to restore the 2015 deal with the region.

Blinken said the U.S. would work with Israel to seek new ways to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear-armed state.

“I’m not going to put a specific date on it, but with every passing day and Iran’s refusal to engage in good faith, the runway gets short. And so, as the foreign minister said, we are discussing this among ourselves and we will look at every option to deal with the challenge posed by Iran,” Blinken stated.

The Israeli foreign minister reiterated Iran wants to destroy the Jewish State, which must be prevented by any means necessary.
