On Wednesday, Bitcoin’s value fell 4.5% to $26,916 at 20:07 GMT, losing $1,276 from its previous closing price, as reported by Reuters. Bitcoin, the biggest and most well-known cryptocurrency around the world, is currently 7% lower than the year’s highest value of $28,936 on March 22.

Ether, which is the coin related to the ethereum blockchain network, also saw a decrease in value by 4.67%, falling to $1,722.6 on Wednesday, losing $84.3 from its previous closing value.
