Bill To Declassify Intel On COVID Origins Heads To Biden’s Desk After House Vote

Friday morning’s overwhelming House vote approved declassification all intelligence from the Biden administration on origins of COVID-19.

According to the report, the House voted 419-0 for the bipartisan measure. Axios. A similar measure was approved by the Senate unanimously last week. The bill would require that all intelligence about the origins of COVID-19, and possibly its connections to the Wuhan Institute of Virology(WIV), be declassified and released within 90 days of receipt of the president’s signature.

Both the FBI and Department of Energy recently concluded that COVID-19 originated from a leak in the Wuhan laboratory. Republicans pursued the theory known as the laboratory leak hypothesis. However, top scientists and medical officials dismissed the theory as conspiracy theory as soon as the pandemic began.
