Bill Maher Says Any Other Group Planning a “Day of Vengeance” Would Get a Much Stronger Media Reaction

During the latest episode of HBO’s “Real Time,” the host Bill Maher discussed his thoughts on the recent school shooting in Nashville. He questioned the media’s response to the planned Trans Day of Vengeance, saying that if any other group planned a “day of vengeance” in their name, the reaction would be much stronger.

Maher expressed his concerns and asked what more trans people should be doing to address discrimination. He mentioned that while The Supreme Court ruled in June 2020 that the Civil Rights Act applies to discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation, it seems like a power game when it comes to addressing these issues.
