Big Three Spend 273 Minutes Covering Trump, 0 Seconds on Biden Family Corruption

Despite significant allegations of corruption surrounding the Biden family, including revelations from the House Oversight Committee regarding payments from a Chinese energy firm to members of the Biden family, the Big Three networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) have chosen to downplay or ignore the situation entirely. Instead, they continue to obsess over various investigations surrounding former President Donald Trump, including those related to Stormy Daniels, Mara Lago documents, and the events of January 6th.

Over a 14-day period from March 16th to March 30th, MRC analysts tracked the networks’ coverage and discovered a glaring double-standard: ABC, NBC, and CBS spent over 272 minutes in total (4 hours, 32 minutes, and 56 seconds) covering investigations related to Trump, but not a single second discussing corruption allegations against the Biden family. On average, network audiences saw almost 20 minutes per day of Trump investigation stories.

Unsurprisingly, NBC devoted the most amount of coverage to the Trump investigations at 1 hour, 41 minutes, and 31 seconds, followed by ABC at 1 hour, 39 minutes, and 6 seconds, and CBS at 1 hour, 12 minutes, and 19 seconds.

If the broadcast news shows were not heavily biased towards the Biden administration, they could have reported on several revelations from the past two weeks, including Hunter Biden’s receipt of Chinese cash in 2017, Biden’s denial of payment receipts, and Hunter Biden’s alleged FBI mole named ‘One-Eye’ who tipped off his Chinese business partners about an investigation. However, the three major networks did not devote any coverage to these stories.

The lack of coverage for these significant allegations is staggering, but unfortunately unsurprising given the networks’ ongoing bias.
