Report: Biden’s Office Allegedly Assisted Hunter’s China Trips
An Adviser to Joe Biden’s Office Allegedly Helped Coordinate Hunter Biden’s Trips to China
A series of emails from 2014 have been made public by conservative group America First Legal, revealing that an adviser to then-Vice President Joe Biden communicated with Hunter Biden’s office as he was setting up business deals in China. The emails show that Donald Cloud, an adviser to the vice president at the time, reached out to Hunter Biden’s assistant to help facilitate communication with the U.S. Ambassador to China, Max Baucus.
“The reason I’m emailing you is that I received a call from Embassy Beijing this morning, and as I understand it, they (specifically Ambassador Max Baucus) has heard that Hunter Biden is in China. He would like to connect with Hunter (either himself or a member of his Embassy staff) to offer any support he may need during his travels,” Cloud wrote in one email.
Hunter Biden’s assistant, Katie Dodge, responded to Cloud’s email, expressing gratitude for the assistance and stating that they would be in touch with the Embassy regarding Hunter’s future travel plans to China.
“Thank you Mr. Cloud. I appreciate everyone stepping forward to help us out. We will be in touch with the Embassy when Hunter knows his next travel dates for China,” she wrote.
These revelations contradict Joe Biden’s previous claims that he had no knowledge of his son’s business dealings. The emails suggest a level of involvement between Hunter Biden and the Office of the Vice President regarding meetings and visits related to China. The emerging contradictions have raised doubts about several statements made by Biden and his representatives.
The article from Politico, published on Sunday, highlights the discrepancies and questions surrounding the Biden family’s business activities. It comes just before a meeting between the special counsel overseeing the Justice Department probe into Hunter Biden’s activities and the House Judiciary Committee.
Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer has indicated that subpoenas will be issued to Biden family members, including Hunter Biden and James Biden, the president’s brother.
Comer has expressed frustration with the obstacles faced by his committee in obtaining information, accusing the IRS, DOJ, Treasury, FBI, and House Oversight Committee Democrats of obstructing their investigation. He alleges that the transactions uncovered by the committee were organized to disguise the source of revenue and deceive the IRS regarding tax payments.
As the investigation continues, the question of whether President Joe Biden deserves to be impeached remains a topic of debate.
Despite the ongoing investigation and mounting evidence, the Biden administration continues to face scrutiny and questions regarding their involvement in Hunter Biden’s business dealings.
