Biden Kept Classified Docs Related to Ukraine, Iran, U.K. from 2013-2016

According to a source, Joe Biden had classified documents related to the UK, Iran, and Ukraine. CNN Tuesday

According to a source familiar with the matter, the documents were US intelligence briefings and memos on topics such as Ukraine, Iran, and the United Kingdom. They were dated between 2013-2016.

It was announced on Monday Merrick Garland, US Attorney General An attorney was assigned to review the case Find classified documents The Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement is located in Washington. Two sources confirmed that this refers to approximately 10 documents from President Biden’s vice-presidential offices.

According to Richard Sauber, special counsel to President Richard Sauber, the materials were discovered by the president’s personal attorneys on November 2, two days before the midterm elections. Biden’s personal lawyers discovered the documents. “were packing files housed in a locked closet to prepare to vacate office space at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, DC,” Sauber stated in a statement.

According to reports, the documents were found in a folder within a box with other unclassified documents. 

Sauber claimed that the National Archives were notified by White House counsel on Nov 2, when the materials became available. 

“The discovery of these documents was made by the President’s attorneys,” Sauber stated. “The documents were not the subject of any previous request or inquiry by the Archives. Since that discovery, the President’s personal attorneys have cooperated with the Archives and the Department of Justice in a process to ensure that any Obama-Biden Administration records are appropriately in the possession of the Archives.”

The Justice Department was informed.

Donald Trump was a former President FBI raided Mar-a-Lago home of Mr. Lago. Over similar accusations Trump of bringing back unclassified files with him after he leaves office. Trump said in response to Truth Social: “When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House? These documents were definitely not declassified.”

Garland gave John Lausch, US Attorney for Northern Illinois to investigate how documents reached the Penn Biden Center. The AG will decide if further investigation is required. 

CBS Reports that “Lausch was nominated to be US attorney by former President Donald Trump, and he is one of only two current Trump-era US attorneys still serving. The other is Delaware US Attorney David Weiss, who is leading an investigation into the president’s son, Hunter Biden.”

“The Presidential Records Act requires all presidential and vice-presidential documents be turned over to the National Archives. There are special protocols to keep classified information secure,” CBS reports. “President Biden learned about the presence of the classified documents when his lawyer reported them to the White House counsel’s office in November.  A source familiar said the president is unaware of their contents. The documents are believed to be currently held in a secure location in Washington.”
