US President Joe Biden organized a reception to observe the Persian New Year, otherwise known as Nowruz, at the White House. The Iranian holiday marks the beginning of spring and the first day of the new year. Many individuals from the Iranian-American community, along with diplomats and state officials, were in attendance.
