Biden Has Another Democratic Challenger – Robert F. Kennedy Jr to Run for President

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to run for President, becoming the second Democrat to enter the race after spiritual advisor and author Marianne Williamson.

Kennedy, a former environmental lawyer, is the son of former U.S. Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of former President John F. Kennedy.

While a Kennedy advisor would not confirm his candidacy, Kennedy himself has been vocal about his potential run, citing his wife’s green light and his criticism of the Biden administration and Democratic National Committee for moving the New Hampshire presidential primary out of its position as the first in the nation primary.

Kennedy’s activism against the COVID-19 vaccine has garnered criticism in the past, although he has yet to confirm his platform for the election.

As of now, President Biden has not announced whether he will run for reelection, but the White House has stated that he intends to run for a second term.
