Biden admin. once again blocks media access to migrant processing facility

Reporters were once again barred from entering a migrant processing facility in Texas.
Members of the media were blocked from the newly opened facility on Thursday, despite the Department of Homeland Security inviting them four days prior.
However, GOP lawmakers who toured the facility managed to snap photos showing hundreds of children crowded together lying on the floor, covered in tin foil with no adults present.

This came a week after Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) attempted to record video at a similar facility, but was blocked by a Biden administration staffer.

“Is this dignity and respect? Look at these people. There’s a pandemic, let me ask you, there’s a pandemic. Is this respecting the rights of these kids? Are you respecting the rights of these kids? You’re right and this is a dangerous place and your policies are unfortunately trying to hide them,” Cruz stated. “I understand you were instructed when 18 senators came down here. I respect them and I want to fix this situation.”
The executive director of the Radio Television Digital News Foundation called out the Biden administration for failing to keep its promise that things would be different with his administration. He went on to say the Trump administration allowed journalists into detention facilities.
