Biden Admin Claims Taliban Killed ISIS Leader Behind Suicide Bombing That Killed 13 U.S. Troops

The Taliban government in Afghanistan, known for their extremist Islamic beliefs, has claimed responsibility for killing the leader of the ISIS affiliate responsible for the deadly attack at Kabul airport in 2021. The attack killed 13 U.S. soldiers and almost 200 Afghan nationals. According to The New York Times, the Taliban led a ground offensive against ISIS-K, resulting in the death of the leader, whose name has not been disclosed. The U.S. officials have “high confidence” that the leader was killed, but no evidence has been provided to support this claim. The Biden administration has reached out to the families of the fallen soldiers, but some, like Darin Hoover, father of Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover, are frustrated with the lack of accountability and transparency. Marine sergeant Tyler Vargas-Andrews, who witnessed the attack, broke down while recounting his experience to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. He revealed that his team had identified a man near the Abbey gate who fit the description of the suspected terrorist bomber, but their requests to take him out were denied. The man eventually disappeared, and they believe he was the suicide bomber. Get the latest news on the Daily Wire app.
