Bengals the Betting Favorite To Win AFC Championship Game
CINCINNATI (WXIX) – In roughly 24 hours since the AFC Championship game was set, the Bengals overtook the Chiefs as the favorites for Sunday’s game.
FanDuel and Bet MGM, as well as many other sportsbooks, had the Bengals listed as the 1-point favorite to win the AFC title in Kansas City as of Monday night.
The line was set at Bengals-2 at some sportsbooks on Tuesday.
Chiefs -3 was the initial spread.
The five-point swing from Sunday to Tuesday could be a reflection of the uncertainty surrounding Patrick Mahomes’ ankle injury.
Andy Reid, Chiefs Coach, stated Mahomes is playing in the AFC Championship Game, but one can’t help but wonder if it will be Mahomes anywhere near 100% strength.
FanDuel Sportsbook gives the Chiefs a better chance (+260) of winning Super Bowl LVII, despite them being favorites. At +240, the Eagles are still the favorite overall.
