Another noisy group of teenagers stormed the city of city Chicago on Saturday night, prompting the arrival of the law in large numbers.

According to national stories and videos posted to social media, hundreds of young people traveled to Millennium Park, the location of Chicago’s’s renowned Cloud Gate” Bean” artwork, smashing car windows and jumping on automobiles.

FOX 32 Chicago reported police helped escort tourists and others to their cars around the park, however, a man was beaten after teenagers jumped on his vehicle’s windshield. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Shots were fired at the intersection of Madison and Michigan Avenue, according to the same news outlet, which sometimes decided not to have its crew there. Two youth, ages 16 and 17, were reportedly shot at around 9 p.m., according to the law.

One Chicago native who spoke with FOX 32 attributed the chaotic evening to” good parenthood.” ” Where are their families right now?” That’s’s my inquiry, she said.

A similar event on Friday evening at 31st Street Beach came to an end when a 14-year-old boy was shot in the knee and taken to the hospital. According to ABC affiliate WLS, authorities detained a 17-year-old who was charged in connection with that killing.

In a statement released by NBC 5 following the Friday night assembling, the Chicago police department stated that they” continuously monitor and adjust information as required so residents and visitors can safely enjoy the city, including our beaches and lake space.”
