Bank of America banker identified as deceased victim in NYC stabbing
Erin Piacenti, a 32-year-old Bank of America executive from Chester, New Jersey, was identified as the victim in a stabbing incident in Times Square. The attack occurred around 4:30 p.m. on a Monday,when Pamela Cisneros,a 49-year-old from Queens,stabbed Piacenti in the abdomen,resulting in her death. Cisneros also stabbed a 68-year-old man, who is in stable condition. Police responded quickly, shooting and killing Cisneros after she charged at officers with two kitchen knives. Piacenti, who served as vice president of business selection and conflicts at bank of America’s NYC office since Febuary 2025, had graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and Fordham University School of Law. She celebrated her second wedding anniversary shortly before her death. Bank of America expressed thier shock and grief over her loss, describing her as a valued colleague.
The New York Police Department has identified Erin Piacenti, a 32-year-old executive at Bank of America, as the deceased victim following Monday’s stabbing spree in Times Square.
Piacenti of Chester, New Jersey, died after she was stabbed in the abdomen by Pamela Cisneros, 49, of Queens, New York. The knife-wielding suspect also stabbed a 68-year-old man in the abdomen. The wounded victim is in stable condition.

Cisneros was fatally shot by police officers after she charged at them with two kitchen knives. After the woman fell to the ground, officers handcuffed her and provided first aid.
The unprovoked attack, as NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch described it, occurred around 4:30 p.m. Monday. Piacenti was knifed moments after the man suffered the same injury.
Piacenti has served as vice president of business selection and conflicts at Bank of America’s New York City office since February 2025, according to her LinkedIn profile. Before gaining professional experience in Manhattan at various companies, she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016 and the Fordham University School of Law in 2021.
Piacenti celebrated her second wedding anniversary with her husband on Aug. 10, the New York Post reported, based on her social media posts.

Bank of America provided a statement on its employee’s death to the Washington Examiner.
“We are shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic loss of our colleague,” a company spokesperson said. “She was a valued teammate who will be greatly missed. Our hearts go out to her family and all of her loved ones.”
