At Least Four Dead In Alabama Mass Shooting

Authorities say a killing on Saturday evening in Dadeville, Alabama resulted in four confirmed dead and numerous people being injured.

The shooting happened at around 10:34 p.m. near the 200 Block of Broadnax Street in Dadeville, Tallapoosa County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency( ALEA ), which said it started an investigation.

In a statement released on Sunday morning, ALEA stated that there have officially been four confirmed casualties and numerous injuries. ” The investigation is ongoing, so nothing more is around.”

The Dadeville law captain requested that the ALEA’s’s State Bureau of Investigations launch a death investigation, the organization stated in the press release. Local police, the FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Fifth Circuit District Attorney’s’s Office are all helping with the investigation, according to ALEEA.

20 people were shot at a Sweet – 16 birthday party at the Mahogany Masterpiece Dance Studio, according to suppliers, and the majority of the injured victims were teens.

Law enforcement officials have not yet disclosed whether any offenders have been detained as of news day.

Dadeville has a community of about 3, 000 people and is situated around 58 miles north of Montgomery.
