At Best, The Swamp Thinks You Are Really Dumb

This is the Swamp’s response to Fox News’s Tucker Carlson A total airing time of no more than two hours January 6 video footage It is clear that, at the very least, those in power think you’re stupid and can’t handle your own research. They also believe that you cannot weigh opposing narratives and make your own decisions about current events.

That is all that matters.

Carlson’s footage may be criticized by the entire legacy media as well leaders and politicians from both political parties.

We will give Senators Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer, both Republicans from Kentucky, the benefit of doubt for this column. Let’s pretend they truly care about protecting democracy, and the truth. We should also note that they didn’t use January 6th to attack former President Donald J. Trump or more than 7 million voters.

Even if this were true, it would be an insulting and demeaning reaction to American citizens.

According to reports, Schumer demanded Fox News silence their eight o’clock host. He also called Carlson’s segment the first. “dangerous, unforgivable attempt to destabilize our democracy and rewrite the history of the worst attack on our constitution since the Civil War.”

He wasn’t the only one. McConnell was not the only one to take offense at the news network’s decision to allow an opinion commentator from the news network, who he said disagreed with the official government narrative.

“It was a mistake, in my view, for Fox News to depict this in a way that’s completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official here at the Capitol thinks,” He stated. The U.S. Capitol Police was also critical of Carlson’s coverage.

These people are treated in the worst Pollyannish manner possible. It is clear that they believe the average man is too dumb to watch Carlson’s report, review the January 6 Committee transcript and search the web for their opinions.

Our elected leaders — and I use that term loosely — in Washington believe that information must first flow through government hands, be packaged in a way that advances The Swamp’s interests, and then parceled out to approved “news sources” — again, using the word “news” loosely — where it will be regurgitated as propaganda.

Carlson, obviously, does not fit that bill — which is why they want to stop any more J6 content from getting out to the public — which is all nonsense and patronizing.

Jimmy Dore, a left-wing radio host, was recently interviewed told Michael Malice, best-selling author on similar topics.  “I don’t need a person in the government or in Silicon Valley to pre-read my news for me and decide if I can read it or not.”

It doesn’t take a person to read your news. It is likely that you can read multiple sources, and then rely on facts to find the truth.

It’s not just a news item on January 6, but it is a regular story. Readers know that the Beltway media, lapdog media, and allies in the Beltway have pushed the notion that only one way is to cover COVID-19, its vaccine, or other national stories.

Washington, D.C., is made stronger by the single message supported solely by the state. Any journalist — citizen or corporate — who dares think differently is deemed a threat who must be stopped. Anyone who believes the government lies or is not completely honest is subject to contempt and ridicule.

The Swamp thinks that you are either a foolish rube or must be protected. “disinformation” because you are too stupid to know any better; Or, they despise the average American — doubly so if they are a Trump supporter — and push propaganda around the clock while misleading the public for their own purposes.

The truth is probably somewhere in the middle — which would mean The Swamp both hates you and thinks you are mindless.
