Arrest Warrant Issued for Bengals’ Joe Mixon for Aggravated Menacing

At the time that the story broke, the Bengals organization issued this statement:

“The Club is aware misdemeanor charges hve been raised against Joe Mixon. The club is ivetsigating the situation and will not comment further at this time.”

Cincinnati has long been known for its off-field problems. This list includes running back Cedric BensonYou can also find defensive lineman Tank Johnson and linebacker Udell Thuman at wide receiver Chris Henry.

It’s also not the first run-in with the law for Joe Mixon, either.

2014 Joe Mixon Surveillance video captured the attack on a female Oklahoma student. After being suspended for one year, he entered an Alford plea. That means the defendant does not admit guilt but acknowledges there’s evidence for a conviction.

Mixon was sentenced to a deferred sentence and ordered to do community service. He also had to go through counseling. Mixon fell in the NFL Draft after the incident. Many teams stated openly that they declined Mixon because of concerns over his character. The former Oklahoma Sooner was selected for the second round of the 2017 NBA Draft.

Mixon ran 814 yards and seven touchdowns between 2022. He also had 60 receptions and 441 yards for two touchdowns. In his six-year career, the steady ball carrier has amassed 5,378 yard and 40 TDs.
