Army Secy: Officials Should Stay Out of ‘Culture War’

A top Army official has urged leaders to stay out of the ‘culture wars’ of social media.

In a recent press conference, Secretary of the Army, Christine Wormuth, spoke on the importance of social media’s role in our society.

However, the Army’s highest-ranking civilian claimed that the Army should stay out of politics. She also stated that officials should avoid getting involved in what she called the ‘culture war’ that occurs online.
