AOC, Who Earns $174k/Year, Wants American Taxpayers to Pay Off Her $17k in Student Loans

Woman of the people Alexandria Ocasio Cortez continues pushing socialism for the upper class, demanding that the U.S. taxpayer pay off her student loans while she rakes in $174,000 a year plus a gold-plated healthcare plan, tax credits for $3,000 worth of travel expenses, and a vested pension (if she ends up serving at least five years), among other benefits.

With an income more than double that of the median U.S.  household, the congresswoman drives a Tesla Model 3 Long Range, which came with a retail price tag between $46k-59k at the time she purchased it. The hefty purchase could’ve perhaps been put to better use, as the Congresswoman in December 2021 quoted her student loan debt at $17,000 (which is in line with her financial disclosures, which reported the figure between $15k-50k), but she’s holding out on a bailout.

Speaking to Spectrum News NY1, AOC debuted the bold thesis that Biden is in danger of losing support if he doesn’t make the American taxpayers pay off her student debt that amounts to 10% of her pre-tax income (and everyone else with debt). “We need to acknowledge that this isn’t just about middle of the road, increasingly narrow band of independent voters. But, this is really about the collapse of support among young people, among Democratic base, feeling like they worked overtime to get this president elected and they aren’t necessarily being seen,” she said.

“It is Biden’s power and ability to cancel student debt, and nobody else’s. We do not have much more time to wait….”

Watch below:

Despite her new hefty salary, Open Secrets (which tracks Congressional financial disclosures) estimates her net worth could range from anywhere between $29,999 and negative $46,997.
