After encouraging Democrats to reject court rulings, AOC asserts that the GOP is corrupt.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez argued there is a crime wave within the Republican Party, citing former President Donald Trump’s indictment and controversy over Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, said on CNN,” I admit it is very hard to see a route in the Republican Party that refuses to hold itself responsible and in truth violates the law itself.”
” The Republican Party is experiencing a flood of crime.” It is everywhere. What we are witnessing, what we have witnessed, is the breaking of the law by the court’s’s conservative justices. We need to keep our systems accountable because we are dealing with a former president of the United States who was recently indicted, she said.
In a Manhattan court, Trump was charged with 34 works of falsifying business information in the first stage. The accusation was made as prosecutors investigated alleged hush-money purchases made by the former senator to Playboy model Karen McDougal and adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

According to one expert, Thomas was accused of receiving extravagant gifts from a powerful friend poorly.

Ocasio – Cortez continued,” I believe that we should follow the program, and if Republicans decide to defend those who are breaking the law, then they are the ones who now are responsible for that conclusion, but we shouldn’t be involved.”

Hunter Biden’s’s infamous laptop, which is said to contain information about the bidens’ business dealings with other countries, was not mentioned by Ocasio-Cortez in relation to the alleged corruption of the family.

Days earlier, Ocasio-Cortez joined Oregon Democratic Sen. Ron Wyden in calling for the disobedience of a court order that would have prohibited the distribution of the drug mifepristone, which is used to induce abortions biologically.
