Anti-Asian Leftists fuel the racism they oppose.

The ⁣End of Affirmative Action:‍ A Victory for Equality

The ⁤U.S.‌ Supreme Court ‌recently ⁤ruled that race-based ⁢college⁣ admissions⁢ are unconstitutional.⁣ This landmark decision⁤ aligns with the‌ majority‌ of Americans’ views, as revealed by both‍ Pew Research’s survey prior to⁢ the ⁢ruling⁢ and⁣ an ⁤Economist/YouGov‌ poll conducted ⁤after the verdict.⁢ The majority of Americans, ⁢including ⁢black and‍ Asian⁣ Americans, ⁢support the ban on affirmative action in college admissions. This decision ‍is seen⁤ as⁣ a significant ⁢step ‌towards eliminating racial discrimination and achieving equality‍ for⁣ all in the United States.

However, the celebration of this victory⁣ has⁣ been⁤ marred⁢ by the ⁢woke left’s targeting ‌of Asian Americans‌ who supported ⁤the ruling. They have⁤ subjected them to⁣ racially charged rhetoric and⁢ baseless ⁣accusations. Media outlets like NBC, CBC, and NPR have ⁣denigrated Asian American ⁢plaintiffs ‌as⁣ “pawns” ⁢or‍ “tools” ‍used by white ⁣supremacists. The Nation went even further, claiming that ‍Asian American⁤ conservatives are “key allies” and‍ “militant‌ co-conspirators” of white supremacists.

By ridiculing Asian⁤ Americans as “pawns,” “tools,” ‌and people ⁤who “carry water” for white supremacists,⁤ or as being ⁣radicalized by ‌”the⁢ promise of proximity ‍to ‍whiteness and power,”‌ the ‌woke⁢ leftists treat Asian Americans⁣ as second-class citizens ⁢and⁣ inferior human beings who‍ have no agency, cannot think independently, and do⁢ not act on our ‍own ‌free will. How is‍ this woke racism⁢ any different⁢ from white supremacy, which believes that⁢ white people are superior ⁣to other⁤ racial groups and should lord‌ over them?

The ⁣Left’s Historical⁣ Ignorance

The woke left’s anti-Asian ⁢rhetoric ‍also reveals their ‌historical ignorance. They should have ⁤read Justice⁢ Clarence Thomas’s concurring opinion in the Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard and Students ⁤for ⁣Fair Admissions⁣ v. UNC cases. In his ⁣opinion, Justice Thomas highlighted the discrimination‌ faced by⁣ Asian Americans‍ throughout history and ‍their ⁣contributions to the fight against racial inequality. He ⁣emphasized that Asian‌ Americans ⁢have‍ never⁣ been beneficiaries of historical racial advantages and have‍ faced⁢ similar discriminatory laws as black ⁣Americans.

Asian Americans have a long history ‍of fighting for‌ equality ‌and civil ‍rights. Chinese⁢ immigrants ⁢fought in the ‌U.S. Civil War to end slavery. Asian⁣ American activists⁣ challenged ⁣discriminatory‍ laws and fought for their rights ⁤in landmark ⁤cases.⁣ They have⁢ always stood against ⁢racial discrimination and defended the⁢ constitutional‌ rights ⁢of all Americans.

The woke left’s ⁤anti-Asian bigotry reflects their panic over⁤ the fact that⁣ their⁣ radical policies ‌have ⁢alienated many ⁤racial ‍minorities. ⁤Instead‌ of addressing policy ⁣deficiencies, ⁤they⁣ denounce ⁤any minority who thinks⁢ differently‍ as “white supremacists.” This⁢ irony was captured in ⁤a viral tweet that read, ‍”White Supremacy is more⁢ diverse than Harvard.”

Asian Americans will not be intimidated by‍ woke racism. Our ⁣resolve to advocate ⁤for equality and oppose racial discrimination has only grown stronger. As Chief Justice ‍John Roberts wrote ⁢in⁣ the majority‌ opinion in SFFA v. Harvard ‌and SFFA v. UNC,‌ “Eliminating racial discrimination means eliminating all of⁢ it.”
