Anheuser-Busch heir wants to repurchase Bud Light, vows to restore its greatness.

Anheuser-Busch Heir Billy Busch Vows to Buy Back Bud Light

Anheuser-Busch heir Billy Busch⁢ has made a bold statement, declaring that⁣ he would be ⁢the first⁤ in line to buy⁤ back Bud Light⁤ if the beer’s parent company, AB InBev, decides to sell it. In an interview with ‌Outkick host Tomi Lahren, Busch expressed his desire to restore the brand’s former glory.

“If they don’t want that brand any longer, sell it back⁣ to the Busch family,” Busch passionately stated. “Sell it to me. ⁢I’ll be the first in line to ⁤buy that brand back from you, and we’ll make that brand great‌ again.”

A Nostalgic Loss

During his ‌appearance on Tomi Lahren is Fearless, Busch shared his disappointment in‌ witnessing the decline of a beer⁤ brand that held so much significance in ⁢his childhood. He lamented the loss of a culture ⁢that once prioritized its customers and employees.

“That culture is completely gone now,” Busch expressed. “They knew who their drinkers were… Even my dad, at 89 or 90 years ⁤old, was still going to the bars selling ⁢Budweiser back in those days.”

Busch emphasized the importance of ⁢caring for the⁤ American people, ‌which he believes was ⁢the‌ foundation of the‍ company’s success.

“We’ve‌ always cared very, very much about the people in America. What made this company⁣ great was America, of course,” he continued.

According to Busch, AB InBev has failed to understand its customer base,⁤ particularly due to its reliance‍ on advertising strategies developed by ”woke students” from local colleges.

“When you are⁤ a foreign company, and you rely on these woke students that are coming out of ‌these local colleges to do your advertising for you, you’re making a big mistake,” the Bud Light heir noted.

The Costly⁣ Backlash

The beer company faced significant backlash after ⁢partnering with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, leading to widespread boycotts. Anheuser-Busch’s second-quarter report revealed a 10% revenue⁤ decline in the United States, amounting to a loss of $400 million, along with a 14%⁣ drop⁤ in retail ⁣compared to the previous year.
