Alonso Says His Aston Martin Is ‘Too Good to Be True’
MANAMA—Fernando Alonso hailed the performance of his Aston Martin as “too good to be true” He qualified fifth in his debut race at the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix.
He was the Formula One double world champion, and a veteran of 355 races.
At the conclusion of last season, five-time champion Sebastian Vettel had retired, Aston Martin was purchased by Renault-owned Alpine.
