Tragic Plane Crash Claims Life of Beloved Husband
The tight-knit community of Alaska is mourning the loss of Eugene Peltola Jr., affectionately known as “Buzzy,” who tragically passed away in a plane accident. Buzzy was the beloved husband of Mary, Alaska’s lone member of the House of Representatives.
“We are devastated to share that Mary’s husband, Eugene Peltola Jr. — ‘Buzzy’ to all of us who knew and loved him — passed away earlier this morning following a plane accident in Alaska,” Peltola chief of staff Anton McParland said in a statement Wednesday.
Buzzy was a remarkable individual, excelling in every endeavor he pursued. His infectious sense of humor brought light to even the darkest moments. Not only was he a skilled cook, but he also cherished his family above all else. Buzzy’s unwavering devotion extended to his parents, children, siblings, extended family, and friends. His love for Mary was immeasurable. The loss of such an extraordinary person has left us heartbroken.
