Sharpton urges Biden to reconcile with NYC Mayor and appreciate Eric’s worth.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams and President Joe Biden’s Feud

The relationship between New York City Mayor Eric Adams and President Joe Biden has been deteriorating, with Adams criticizing Biden’s failure to help the city through the migrant crisis. In response, Biden’s team removed Adams from the president’s 2024 campaign advisory board.

However, the notorious anti-Semite Al Sharpton is looking to restore the friendship between the two. “I’m trying to get them to sort it out,” Sharpton told Axios. He believes that Adams, as the mayor of the largest city and a Black mayor who is not all the way left or right, would benefit from a healthy White House relationship.

Sharpton’s Controversial Past

Sharpton rose to notoriety in the 1980s and 1990s through his provocative racial activism, leading the Tawana Brawley rape hoax and instigating the anti-Semitic Crown Heights riot. Despite his controversial past, he is now “one of the most influential figures within the Democratic Party and media establishment,” according to the Washington Free Beacon. Even Vice President Kamala Harris told him last month, “I love you.”

Biden’s Response

Kevin Munoz, spokesman for the Biden campaign, played down the feud, stating that President Biden counts Mayor Adams as a friend and partner. He looks forward to working with the mayor on issues impacting New Yorkers and to win the presidency again in 2024.

Why Adams’ Criticism Matters

  • Adams is right to be upset about Biden’s failure to help New York City through the migrant crisis.
  • Adams is the mayor of the largest city and a Black mayor who is not all the way left or right.
  • A healthy White House relationship would benefit Adams and New York City.

It’s important for the White House to see the value in Adams and work towards a resolution with him. With Sharpton’s mediation, hopefully, the relationship between Adams and Biden can be restored.
