After Fake News Helped Joe Biden Win An Election, His Scandal-Ridden Son Is Now Lecturing Us On Misinformation

Earlier this week, it was reported that Tulane University would be hosting President Joe Biden’s scandal-ridden son, Hunter Biden, as a “guest speaker for a class focused on media polarization and the impacts of media on public policy.”

The fall semester class, titled, “Media Polarization and Public Policy Impacts,” is a 10-week course for “those interested in media relations and policy.”

Tulane University describes the course as focusing on “the current state of the media landscape in the United States and how media polarization, fake news and the economics of the new business impact public policymaking in Washington D.C.”

In simple terms, Hunter Biden is being given a platform of authority by Tulane University to speak about fake news.

The irony of this decision by Tulane apparently knows no bounds.

If anything, Hunter Biden, and his father more broadly, have been the beneficiaries of fake news. In many ways, Joe Biden owes his very presidency to the network of misinformation and disinformation tightly sewn by the legacy media in league with the Democratic Party. To pretend that didn’t happen, and then to give Hunter Biden a platform of authority on the subject, is like asking a convicted cannibal to give a lecture on the benefits of veganism.

Looking back to October 2020, the New York Post broke the now infamous article titled, “Smoking-gun email reveals how Hunter Biden introduced Ukrainian businessman to VP dad.”

Almost immediately, the supposedly objective legacy media mobilized. CNN called the story “dubious.” The New York Times, as is usual, cited anonymous sources which undermined the story. The Washington Post’s fact checkers went to work on “explaining” the story. The Daily Beast ran headlines like “Russian State Media Is Desperately Trying to Keep the Hunter Biden Story Alive” and “FBI Examining Hunter’s Laptop As Foreign Op, Contradicting Trump’s Intel Czar.”

Big Tech also rallied behind the “fake news” effort. Twitter locked the New York Post’s account, and Facebook’s Policy Communications Director, Andy Stone, boasted that the story was “eligible to be fact checked” and that the social media giant would be “reducing” the story’s “distribution” on Facebook.

Days after the election, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said that Twitter was “wrong” to censor the New York Post and its news stories on Hunter Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden.

Not only that, months later, long after Joe Biden’s fake news shield helped him achieve electoral victory, Hunter Biden admitted that the laptop at the center of the New York Post’s bombshell October report could, in fact, be his.

“Of course, certainly. There could be a laptop out there that was stolen from me. It could be that I was hacked. It could be that was the — that it was Russian intelligence. It could be that it was stolen from me.”

To conclude, the man at the rotten center of arguably the decade’s most impactful “fake news” story — the story buried by the Left in order to elevate their chosen candidate — is now lecturing college students on fake news and political polarization.

If you can’t see what is wrong with this picture, then all is lost.
