Workers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Face Threats Following Trump’s Indictment

A recent report claims that workers with the Fulton ‍County ⁤Sheriff’s Office have⁤ been facing threats⁣ since former President Donald Trump’s⁣ indictment. According to a source familiar⁢ with the matter, not only the workers but‍ also their households have been targeted with threats leading up to Trump’s surrender. While ⁤no further details have been provided, concerns⁤ over potential threats had already⁢ been expressed prior to Trump’s indictment last week.

Concerns ‌Escalate as Threats Spread

On Thursday, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office ‍released a statement addressing the situation. They acknowledged that personal‌ information of members of the Fulton County ⁣Grand Jury is being shared on⁤ various platforms, and they have enlisted the help of the FBI to ⁣track⁤ down the origin of these threats. The office emphasized that they take this matter very seriously and are working closely ⁢with⁤ law enforcement partners to respond swiftly to any credible threat and‌ ensure the safety of those who carried out their civic duty.

As early as April, ⁢Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis had already warned Georgia police about the potential for violence leading up⁢ to the indictment. She urged them to implement heightened security measures and be prepared for any potential threats.

It is important to note that no acts‍ of violence from Trump supporters‌ against anyone involved in the three previous indictments of the president have been reported. Similarly, no violence has been reported⁤ in the latest indictment, apart from the threats.
