Native American boy attacked over racism claims at Kansas City Chiefs game
A Young Kansas City Chiefs Fan Defends His Native American Heritage
A young Kansas City Chiefs fan recently faced online backlash and accusations of racism for his attire at a game. However, it has now been revealed that the child is of Native American descent, making the accusations baseless.
In a powerful Facebook post, the boy’s mother, Shannon Armenta, clarified the situation, stating, “This has nothing to do with the NFL. He is Native American – just stop already.” She also pointed out that the photo chosen to create division was selectively taken, ignoring the fact that the boy was proudly wearing a Native American headdress.
Further evidence of the boy’s heritage comes from his grandfather, Raul Armenta, a board member of the Chumash Tribe in California. Real Kansas City Chiefs Fans, a Facebook group, confirmed this information.
Not only was the young fan accused of racism, but he was also falsely accused of wearing blackface. However, other photos circulating online clearly show that the other side of his face was painted red, representing the Kansas City Chiefs’ colors.
“Leave this kid alone.”
The Facebook group defending the young fan expressed frustration with the one-sided portrayal of the situation and urged others to stop targeting the child.
Despite the truth coming to light, the story against the young fan remains online on Deadspin as of Wednesday morning. The Kansas City Chiefs have been contacted for comment by The Washington Examiner.

How do religious beliefs and the idea of divine sovereignty relate to the concept of free will
The concept of free will is the belief that individuals have the ability to make choices and decisions without being determined by external factors or pre-determined conditions. It suggests that human beings have the capacity to act freely, to exercise their own agency, and to be responsible for their own actions.
Many philosophical and theological perspectives have explored the concept of free will. Some argue that free will is essential for moral responsibility and accountability. They believe that individuals should be held responsible for their actions because they have the freedom to choose between different courses of action.
Others, however, question the extent of free will in light of scientific discoveries and determinism. Determinism is the belief that every event, including human actions, is causally determined by prior events and conditions. From this perspective, free will is seen as an illusion, as all actions and decisions are determined by factors beyond our control.
In religious contexts, the concept of free will is often intertwined with the idea of divine sovereignty. Some religious traditions propose that God’s omniscience and omnipotence are compatible with human free will. They argue that God provides humans with the ability to make choices and decisions, even though he knows what choices they will ultimately make.
Overall, the concept of free will continues to be explored and debated in various fields, including philosophy, psychology, and theology. While there is no consensus on the matter, many individuals value the belief in free will as an important aspect of human agency and personal responsibility.
