‘You Are The Best Dad Anyone Could Ask For’: Ray Liotta’s Daughter Breaks Silence Following His Death

“Goodfellas” actor Ray Liotta’s daughter, actress Karsen Liotta, finally broke her silence following her dad’s shocking death last month at the age of 67.

In a touching tribute shared Thursday on Instagram, the 23-year-old actress wrote about what a great dad the late “Identity” star was and how everyone who knew him “loved him.”

“Those who knew him, loved him,” Liotta’s daughter wrote. “You are the best Dad anyone could ask for. I love you. Thank you for everything.”

The “Shades of Blue” star also shared a sweet picture of her as a little girl wearing a sleeveless red and white striped sun dress and being held by her dad. It is unclear how long ago the picture was taken, but it was the first picture the actress has shared on her social media account since 2020, Fox News noted.

The legendary actor shared Karsen with his ex-wife Michelle Grace.

The “Wild Hogs” star passed away in his sleep in May while in the Dominican Republic shooting his next film, “Dangerous Waters.”

Liotta burst onto the scene in the late 80s with roles in “Something Wild” and “Field of Dreams.” The actor became best known for his role as gangster Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese’s 1990 crime classic “Goodfellas,” alongside movie giants Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci.

Lorraine Bracco, who played his wife in “Goodfellas,” reacted to the news of his death in a post on Twitter.

“I am utterly shattered to hear this terrible news about my Ray,” Bracco tweeted. “I can be anywhere in the world & people will come up & tell me their favorite movie is Goodfellas. Then they always ask what was the best part of making that movie. My response has always been the same…Ray Liotta.”

He is survived by his fiancée, Jacy Nittolo.
