Madison Keys Claims Second Rothesay International Title

Madison Keys showcased her resilience and skill in a thrilling match against Daria Kasatkina to secure her second Rothesay International title. The American tennis star triumphed with a 6-2, 7-6 (13) victory in Eastbourne, England.

With this victory, Keys adds another singles title to her impressive career record, making it her seventh overall. Notably, she won her first title at Eastbourne in 2014.

Keys, 28, now holds a 9-2 head-to-head record against Kasatkina. This match marked their first encounter on grass.

Bad Homburg Open

Katerina Siniakova, representing the Czech Republic, secured her first grass-court title by defeating Lucia Bronzetti of Italy with a score of 6-2, 7-6 (5) in Bad Homburg, Germany.

Bronzetti faced a challenging situation in the second set, trailing 5-2. However, she made an impressive comeback, winning 13 consecutive points and forcing a tiebreak.

Siniakova, despite seven double faults, managed to finish the match in one hour and 36 minutes.

This victory marks Siniakova’s fourth career singles title and her first of the season. She is also a seven-time Grand Slam doubles champion, but her recent participation has been limited due to a right wrist injury sustained at the Miami Open in March.
