While a vast majority, 63 percent, indicated they were fully vaccinated and another six percent said they began the process, 19 percent said they will \u201cnot get vaccinated.\u201d Another seven percent said they are \u201cnot sure\u201d about getting the jab, leaving over a quarter of Americans withstanding outside pressure to get the vaccine at this point in time.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Overall, 29 percent of Republicans said they will not get the shot \u2014 a sentiment held by 22 percent of independents and five percent of Democrats. Trump voters are far more likely than Biden voters to say they are not getting the shot, 30 percent to four percent.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The survey also asked respondents to gauge where they believe America is in the current pandemic. A plurality, 46 percent, said the \u201cworst part of the pandemic is behind us,\u201d while 16 percent said it is \u201cgoing to get worse.\u201d Eleven percent said \u201cwe are currently in the worst part of the pandemic,\u201d and over a quarter, 26 percent, remain unsure.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The survey\u2019s margin of error is +\/- 3 percent.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The survey comes as the Biden Administration attempts to mandate vaccines \u2014 something the White House <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/04\/months-ago-biden-white-house-said-vaccine-mandates-not-the-role-of-the-federal-government\/\">suggested<\/a> it would never do \u2014 via the Department of Labor\u2019s Occupational Safety and Public Health\u2019s (OSHA) emergency temporary standard (ETS), slated to go into effect January 4. Biden has also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/news\/biden-to-parents-of-kids-aged-5-11-please-get-them-vaccinated\/\">targeted<\/a> parents, begging them to \u201cplease\u201d get their children vaccinated.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just over a quarter of Americans say they will not get vaccinated or remain unsure, an Economist\/YouGov survey released this week found.
