Thirteen percent remain unsure, and another five percent said they would opt for another candidate altogether.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>That represents a significant reversal from the results in April, which gave Democrats a four-point advantage:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote readability=\"10\">\n<p>The survey was conducted just prior to last week\u2019s elections in Virginia. The survey is of Registered Voters rather than Likely Voters. In last week\u2019s elections, conservative and Republican voters were more likely than others to cast a ballot. If that enthusiasm advantage continues into the midterm elections, the numbers suggest the GOP would win a sizable victory in 2022.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Some Democrats have sounded the alarm following last week\u2019s elections, which saw Republican Glenn Youngkin defeating Democrat Terry McAuliffe in Virginia\u2019s gubernatorial race.<\/p>\n<p>Following the series of GOP victories, far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/04\/aoc-mcauliffes-failure-in-virginia-shows-the-limits-of-a-super-moderated-campaign\/\">said<\/a> Democrats should be worried about the midterms if \u201cnothing changes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think that we should be worried if nothing changes and if Democrats don\u2019t learn lessons,\u201d she said, contending that moderate Democrats must learn that there is \u201cgoing to be charged discussions about race, so they need to know how to talk about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Former Obama adviser David Plouffe also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/clips\/2021\/11\/02\/plouffe-really-really-dark-and-bleak-for-democrats-unless-they-turn-it-around-in-the-next-12-months\/\">issued<\/a> a warning to Democrats, adding that the state of affairs is \u201creally, really dark and bleak in terms of what this means for next year unless we turn it around in the next 12 months.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, President Biden\u2019s approval rating is tanking across the board as Americans express negative opinions of his Build Back Better agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, a recent&nbsp;<em>USA Today<\/em>\/Suffolk survey <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/07\/poll-biden-approval-plummets-under-38-percent-republicans-take-commanding-8-point-lead-generic-midterm-ballot\/\">found<\/a> Biden\u2019s approval rating sinking to 37.8 percent and Republicans taking a sizable 8-point lead against Democrats \u2014 46 percent to 38 percent \u2014 in a generic ballot matchup.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Republicans are edging out Democrats in a general ballot matchup, according to recent polling from Scott Rasmussen.
