(Photo by Christian Petersen\/Getty Images)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The fines come after Aaron Rodgers publicly stated his refusal to get the coronavirus vaccine&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/sports\/2021\/11\/05\/aaron-rodgers-on-vax-status-im-in-the-crosshairs-of-the-woke-mob-right-now\/\">during an interview<\/a>&nbsp;on the&nbsp;<em>Pat McAfee Show.<\/em><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re trying to shame and out and cancel all of us not vaccinated people, call us selfish. I mean, that\u2019s the propaganda line, too, that you\u2019re selfish for making a decision that\u2019s in the best interest of your body,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated is a total lie,\u201d he exclaimed.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"5.6503496503496\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Aaron Rodgers consulted with Joe Rogan on medical treatments for Covid  <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/rBoselKwJ0\">pic.twitter.com\/rBoselKwJ0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 gifdsports (@gifdsports) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/gifdsports\/status\/1456675474084704272?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 5, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Rodgers explained that he studied the vaccines extensively and discovered an ingredient that would have allegedly caused him an allergic reaction. Though he settled on the Johnson &amp; Johnson vaccine, the shot was pulled from distribution over clotting issues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRodgers added that the \u2018immunization protocol\u2019 he found that could \u2018best protect myself and my teammates\u2019 was a long-term protocol that involved multiple months of treatment,\u201d Breitbart News&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/sports\/2021\/11\/05\/aaron-rodgers-on-vax-status-im-in-the-crosshairs-of-the-woke-mob-right-now\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>The NFL investigations determined that Rodgers and Lazard violated the agreed-upon rules for unvaccinated players by not wearing masks inside the team facility and the two attending a Halloween party.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe team did not report that Rodgers and Lazard attended a Halloween party, even though it was away from the team facility,\u201d reported ESPN.&nbsp; By attending, Rodgers and Lazard violated the protocol that prevents unvaccinated players from gathering in groups of more than three, which was the reason for their fine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe investigation also included a review of video from inside the club facility and found a few isolated instances of Rodgers and Lazard failing to wear a mask in the facility,\u201d ESPN added. \u201cOther than those isolated incidents, the video showed no widespread or systemic mask-wearing violation, the source said.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Packers president Mark Murphy said the team will \u201crespect the League\u2019s findings\u201d while pledging fealty to the importance of coronavirus protocols.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe respect the League\u2019s findings and we recognize the importance of adherence to the COVID protocols to keep our team and organization safe and healthy,\u201d Murphy told ESPN. \u201cWe will continue to educate the team regarding the importance of the protocols and remain committed to operating within the protocols.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rodgers tested positive for coronavirus last week, which will cause him to sit out on at least one game.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Green Bay Packers, quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and receiver Allen Lazard have all reportedly been fined for allegedly violating coronavirus protocols.
