(St. Louis County Justice Services via AP)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 3:04 PM PT \u2013 Tuesday, November 9, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>A suspected serial killer in Missouri has been arrested following a string of murders and shootings.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities reported on Monday, 25-year-old Perez Reed was arrested for allegedly shooting at least six victims in the St. Louis and Kansas City areas back in September. Police suggested the same handgun was used in all six shootings according to the shell casings found at each crime scene.<\/p>\n<p>Four of the victims reportedly died from their wounds, and most of them were women. The timeframe in which the crimes occurred have been narrowed down to a span of two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities said the victims do not appear to be connected, calling the shootings \u201crandom acts.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Though there obviously remains concern until a suspect(s) is apprehended and charged, we hope this news will help to bring some amount of calm and dispel some of the rumors that are being posted to social media. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/n7bjwmdvrs\">pic.twitter.com\/n7bjwmdvrs<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Kansas City, Kansas Police Department (@KCKPDChief) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KCKPDChief\/status\/1456007394685820935?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 3, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe Circuit Attorney\u2019s Office has been working closely with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department from the beginning on this investigation.
