Instead, the media \u2014 and especially the left-wing sports media \u2014 intensified its attacks on him instead of accepting his explanation and moving on to other sports news. The \u201cwoke mob\u201d only got louder, and Rodgers is <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/sports\/aaron-rodgers-didnt-expect-negative-response-to-vaccination-statements-hes-very-unhappy-source-says\/\" target=\" _blank\" rel=\"noopener\">perplexed<\/a>, according to <i>People<\/i> magazine.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Rodgers is reportedly \u201cupset\u201d that he is still being slandered by the media, and \u201cfeels like he just shared his point of view, and now he\u2019s being crucified for it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe knew some people would disagree with him, but he didn\u2019t know that it would become the s\u2013tstorm it became. People who he thought were friends are turning on him,\u201d <i>People<\/i> reported. \u201cHe\u2019s very unhappy with the response to him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rodgers also lost a sponsor due to his ideas about the vaccine. The quarterback was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/sports\/2021\/11\/06\/aaron-rodgers-dropped-health-cae-sponsor-after-vaccine-comments\/\" target=\" _blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dropped<\/a> as a spokesman by Prevea Health, a Wisconsin medical care system.<\/p>\n<p>However, another big sponsor, State Farm Insurance, came out backing Rodgers\u2019 right to have an opinion and said it would not drop him as a spokesman.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"4.3380281690141\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">State Farm has Aaron Rodgers&#8217; back. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/DQSxqAECf3\">https:\/\/t.co\/DQSxqAECf3<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ooansDzH65\">pic.twitter.com\/ooansDzH65<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 USA TODAY Sports (@usatodaysports) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/usatodaysports\/status\/1457740101086240772?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 8, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cAaron Rodgers has been a great ambassador for our company for much of the past decade,\u201d State Farm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/sports\/2021\/11\/08\/we-respect-his-right-state-farm-defies-the-wokes-stands-by-aaron-rodgers\/\" target=\" _blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> on Monday. \u201cWe don\u2019t support some of the statements that he has made, but we respect his right to have his own personal point of view. We recognize our customers, employees, agents and brand ambassadors come from all walks of life, with differing viewpoints on many issues. Our mission at State Farm is to support safer, stronger communities. To that end, we encourage vaccinations, but respect everyone\u2019s right to make a choice based on their personal circumstances.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rodgers missed last Sunday\u2019s game against the Chiefs because he tested positive for the virus and is on a ten-day, league COVID protocol.
