But video evidence of the melee at a Black Lives Matter riot in Kenosha last Aug. 25 suggested that he had fired on people who attacked him \u2014 including one armed with a firearm.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>As Breitbart News has reported, a key prosecution witness <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/08\/kyle-rittenhouse-trial-witness-gaige-grosskreutz-admits-pointed-gun-advanced-teen-before-shot\/\">admitted<\/a>&nbsp;Monday that Rittenhouse only shot at him once he had pointed his own pistol at the teenager, and the detective in the case <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/08\/watch-kenosha-detective-admits-kyle-rittenhouse-only-shot-people-chasing-him\/\">admitted<\/a> that Rittenhouse only shot people chasing him.<\/p>\n<p>Some legal observers opined that Rittenhouse should qualify for a directed verdict \u2014 a legal finding by the judge that the prosecution has failed to establish the basic elements of the crime. But the establishment media continued portraying the teenager in the worst possible light:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"9.6042296072508\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">If you want to understand why no one trust the press, today\u2019s headlines about the trial are a perfect example. This witness got caught in multiple lies and his testimony ended up making a clear case for self-defense. Last year, Facebook declared \u2014 in advance of any trial \u2014 that Rittenhouse was guilty of \u201cmass murder,\u201d and confirmed that it would ban any posts supporting him.<\/p>\n<p>Other social media companies followed suit, as did other companies and organizations. As Breitbart News recalled Monday: \u201cTwitter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tech\/2020\/09\/04\/twitter-locks-account-of-kyle-rittenhouses-attorney-john-pierce\/\">locked<\/a> the account of a Rittenhouse attorney, and a police officer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/05\/15\/police-lieutenant-fired-for-donation-to-kyle-rittenhouse-defense-fund\/\">lost his job<\/a> for donating to Rittenhouse\u2019s defense.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, the trial has presented evidence that suggests Rittenhouse had, at the very least, a solid case for self-defense, at least to the murder charges.<\/p>\n<p>As with the Hunter Biden laptop, social media companies suppressed facts and free speech.<\/p>\n<p><em>Joel B.
