Pollsters surveyed 1,000 registered voters, for a margin of error of 3.1%.<\/p>\n<p>Americans gave low marks for Congress as a whole, with the institution holding a meager 12% approval rating, compared to 75% disapproval. Congressional Republicans received a 35% approval rating, and congressional Democrats were at 29%. Democrats like Virginia Sen. Mark Warner cited the bill\u2019s passage as crucial for the party\u2019s chances in the 2022 midterms. Warner <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/03\/pelosi-says-people-have-spoken-in-virginia-but-dems-wont-budge-on-biden-agenda\/\">blamed<\/a> Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe\u2019s loss in his home state on the Democrats\u2019 intraparty negotiations over the package, which lasted more than four months.<\/p>\n<p>The poll <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/08\/joe-biden-poll-kamala-harris-november-38-28-percent\/\">also found<\/a> that only 38% of Americans approve of President Joe Biden\u2019s performance in office, while 59% disapprove.<\/p>\n<p>Biden should not expect to receive a major boost from the Build Back Better social spending <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/28\/biden-build-back-better-agenda-democrats\/\">package<\/a>, according to the poll.
