Organisers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-scotland-59185007\">claimed<\/a> that as many as 100,000 turned out for the Saturday demo, however, the figure has not been confirmed by police who monitored the event.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>The demonstration featured a cross-section of leftist activists, with the flags of Antifa and the Scottish Socialist Party being held high at the march.<\/p>\n<p>Two activists told Breitbart London that socialism was the answer to the alleged climate crisis, shouting out \u201csystem change, not climate change\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need a socialist revolution,\u201d one of the demonstrators said, adding that the world needs to \u201cget rid of all these capitalist bastards\u201d.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The other activist told said that \u201cfossil fuel companies can go and drown in their fossil fuels\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He claimed that a socialist system would be a \u201cdemocratic society\u201d in which all engineers are \u201cretrained\u201d to focus on \u201crenewable energy\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Celebrating the massive demonstration, teenage climate campaigner Greta Thunberg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CV8dVXRsr50\/\">wrote<\/a> on social media: \u201cOur so-called \u2018leaders\u2019 aren\u2019t leading \u2013 THIS is what leadership looks like!&nbsp;#UprootTheSystem.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The attacks on the capitalist system \u2014 which has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/rainerzitelmann\/2020\/07\/27\/anyone-who-doesnt-know-the-following-facts-about-capitalism-should-learn-them\/?sh=4761dc1f3dc1\">lifted more people out of poverty <\/a>than any other \u2014 have been a consistent theme of the protests in Glasgow.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, climate activist Mikaela Loach said that the green movement needs to demand an \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/11\/06\/exclusive-video-cop26-crazies-climate-activists-call-end-capitalism-black-liberation-abolition-police\/\">end to capitalism<\/a>\u201c.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Her fellow eco-warrior, Fraser Stewart told the crowd that \u201cclimate justice is social justice\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is not just a crisis of climate or emissions, this is a crisis of justice, of inequality, of poverty, of racism, of classism, of workers\u2019 rights, and women\u2019s rights and every intersection in between,\u201d Stewart explained.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"8.9375\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Exclusive Video: COP26 Crazies!
