She continued to teach while battling cancer this year.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>Unfortunately, Mack\u2019s cancer has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbs58.com\/news\/students-sing-to-teacher-battling-stage-4-cancer-in-heartwarming-moment-outside-milwaukee-hospital\">progressed<\/a> to stage four, and she will need hospice care going forward, prohibiting her from rejoining her students in the classroom, according to CBS 58.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/AuroraHealth\/photos\/pcb.10159622482430138\/10159622481955138\" data-width=\"640\" readability=\"8.135593220339\">\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/AuroraHealth\/photos\/a.73596920137\/10159622481955138\/?type=3\" class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\" readability=\"1.7796610169492\">\n<p>Posted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/27771165137\">Aurora Health Care<\/a> on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/AuroraHealth\/photos\/a.73596920137\/10159622481955138\/?type=3\">Thursday, November 4, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p><span>\u201cBefore moving to hospice, one of her fellow teachers and friends wanted Carol to be able to reunite with her students once again,\u201d Aurora Health Care\u2019s post states. \u201cWith the help of Aurora St. Luke\u2019s, Carol\u2019s care team and the school, this was made possible.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Twenty-six students in grades one through four showed up outside of Aurora St. Luke\u2019s to greet their beloved teacher on November 3, Aurora Health Care stated. We were very lucky to be a part of that. It was the most beautiful, touching thing,\u201d said Campols.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>&nbsp;Another member of Mack\u2019s team, Occupational Therapist Nicole Bartnik was touched by the emotional meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cShe didn\u2019t have children of her own but has more kids than she could ever count.
