Under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.federalregister.gov\/documents\/2021\/11\/05\/2021-23643\/covid-19-vaccination-and-testing-emergency-temporary-standard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">guidance<\/a>, anyone who \u201cknowingly makes any false statement, representation, or certification\u201d about their vaccination status can be fined up to $10,000 and or face six months jail time.<\/p>\n<p>Checkpoint Research <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.checkpoint.com\/2021\/09\/14\/amid-vaccine-mandates-fake-vaccine-certificates-become-a-full-blown-industry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a> a tenfold increase in the number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbp.gov\/newsroom\/local-media-release\/memphis-seizes-hundreds-counterfeit-covid-19-vaccination-cards-every\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fake vaccine cards<\/a> sold on the app Telegram between August and September.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7316307\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"37\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-7316307\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A nurse marks a coronavirus vaccination card with a third \u201cbooster\u201d dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine at a vaccine clinic hosted by The Tournament of Roses and the Pasadena Public Health Department, August 19, 2021 at Tournament House in Pasadena, California.(ROBYN BECK\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Under the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/04\/private-businesses-january-4-joe-biden-vaccine-testing-requirement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">new rules<\/a>, workers must be vaccinated by Jan. 4 before being forced to provide weekly negative testing. Companies will not be responsible for paying for COVID-19 tests for unvaccinated workers unless a local law or union contract requires it. The mandate is expected to affect 84 million employees nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>The new mandate was met with <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/04\/job-creators-network-vaccine-mandate-covid-19-coronavirus-joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">several lawsuits<\/a> from those arguing the mandate is \u201cillegal.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/04\/nyc-eric-adams-revisit-vaccine-mandate-unions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: NYC Mayor-Elect Eric Adams Says City Has To \u2018Revisit\u2019 Vaccine Mandate)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Biden Administration\u2019s vaccine mandate is clearly illegal and will have a devastating impact on our small business community and our entire economy,\u201d Job Creators Network President and CEO Alfredo Ortiz said. \u201cJCN is suing the administration on the grounds that OSHA does not have the authority to impose such a mandate.
