In the original, the shirt had the name of the brand Champion.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CVog-BFvT4y\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=cd7a6590-e360-4d09-bbc4-8c711ceed56ehttps:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CVog-BFvT4y\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=cd7a6590-e360-4d09-bbc4-8c711ceed56e\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Instagram post<\/a> juxtaposes two images: a <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/08\/23\/beyonce-jay-z-face-backlash-over-basquiat-painting-in-tiffany-ad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recent picture<\/a> of Jay-Z sitting near a painting and a photo of his younger self purportedly sporting a t-shirt that features a \u201cThe Simpsons\u201d-style cartoon of the more recent picture printed across the front. It seems to play on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/the-simpsons-is-good-at-predicting-the-future-2016-11\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the belief<\/a> some \u201cThe Simpsons\u201d fans hold that the animated show has accurately predicted several events before they occurred.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProof we really live in a simulation\/matrix they have been predictive programming for years &amp; it\u2019s a Simpsons character never fails this shit crazy,\u201d reads the Instagram post\u2019s caption.<\/p>\n<p>The picture of the younger Jay-Z appears to have been digitally altered to include the cartoon. The undoctored version can be found on hip-hop news focused websites such as <a href=\"http:\/\/blackouthiphop.com\/dig-of-the-day-big-l-jay-z-historic-freestyle-on-the-stretch-armstrong-bobbito-show-1995\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Blackout Hip-Hop<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/id.31383\/title.dmx-jay-z-battle-detailed-by-ruff-ryders-co-founder-joaquin-waah-dean#signup\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HipHopDX<\/a>.
