Ron DeSantis (R) on Thursday announced a lawsuit against the&nbsp;Occupational Safety and Public Health\u2019s (OSHA) emergency temporary standard (ETS) forcing vaccine mandates and mandatory testing on private companies with over 100 employees.<\/p>\n<p>The Florida governor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/28\/ron-desantis-bidens-osha-rule-is-going-down\/\">made<\/a> good on his promise to \u201cimmediately\u201d challenge President Biden\u2019s OSHA rule, announcing the forthcoming lawsuit the same day the rule came out.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<div id=\"attachment_18595770\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" readability=\"37\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GettyImages-1236325921.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18595770\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GettyImages-1236325921.jpg\" alt width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>U.S. President Joe Biden speaks about the authorization of the Covid-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11, in the South Court Auditorium on the White House campus on November 03, 2021 in Washington, DC. As soon as it\u2019s published, Florida will be joining with Georgia and Alabama, as well with private plaintiffs to file suit,\u201d the Florida governor said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a rule that is not consistent with the Constitution and is not legally authored through congressional statutes,\u201d he said, adding that the federal government \u201ccan\u2019t just unilaterally impose medical policy under the guise of workplace regulation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd that is exactly what they\u2019re trying to do here,\u201d he said. \u201cThis is attempt to shoehorn policy through the bureaucracy in a way that will be difficult for some of these individuals and private parties to resist.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>OSHA <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/04\/osha-rule-imposes-burdens-on-the-unvaccinated-does-not-require-employers-to-pay-for-any-costs-associated-with-testing\/\">released<\/a> the rule on Thursday, which forces companies with over 100 employees to implement vaccine and testing requirements. It goes into effect January 4. Those who fail to adhere will face&nbsp;$14,000 in fines per violation at the start.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Florida Gov.
