The same suspect allegedly committed another sexual assault just a few months later at a different school.<\/p>\n<p>Juvenile court prosecutors <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/13\/loudon-county-sexual-assault-superintendent-resign\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">told the first victim\u2019s father<\/a> that the suspect was under house arrest at his mother\u2019s townhouse, but on Oct. 6, a 15-year-old boy was charged with sexual battery and abduction at LCPS\u2019 Broad Run High School for forcing a girl into a classroom, where he inappropriately touched her,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sheriff.loudoun.gov\/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=7025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">according<\/a>&nbsp;to the Loudoun County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>Miyares also said he plans to push for legislation, which was discussed on the campaign trail, that allows his office to take over when chief law enforcement officers think the state\u2019s prosecutors are not sufficiently doing their job.<\/p>\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"WATCH LIVE: Newly elected Attorney General Jason Miyares to hold press conference\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SoeHJoDLQWA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p>Miyares added his support for \u201ca bill that would essentially say if the chief law enforcement officer in a jurisdiction, either the chief of police or the sheriff, makes a request, because the commonwealth\u2019s attorney is not doing their job, then I\u2019m going to do their job for them.\u201d More, he clarified that he is thinking \u201cspecifically\u201d about \u201csome of the so-called social justice commonwealth attorneys\u201d who have been elected \u201cparticularly in northern Virginia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Miyares said Virginia has seen some \u201cpretty horrific cases\u201d that have been made public where state prosecutors have failed to do their job.
