(Photo by Anna Moneymaker\/Getty Images)\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">&nbsp;Glenn Youngkin speaks at a campaign rally at the Loudon County Fairground on November 1, 2021, in Leesburg, Virginia (Anna Moneymaker\/Getty Images).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cAnd I\u2019m thinking specifically of some of the so-called social justice commonwealth\u2019s attorneys that have been elected, particularly in northern Virginia,\u201d he asserted.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Miyares, joined by Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman, said his office would have a \u201cshift of focus\u201d from that of outgoing Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring (D).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAttorney General Herring was very vocal about the fact that he turned the office into a \u201cprogressive powerhouse\u201d \u2013 those are his words, not mine \u2013 and I campaigned and went to the voters of Virginia asking them to hire me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wanted to get it shifted back into more public safety and a law enforcement focus, precisely at a time when the murder rate\u2019s the highest it\u2019s been in over two decades in Virginia, and so that\u2019s going to be a big focus for me,\u201d Miyares added.<\/p>\n<p>An investigation has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/28\/loudoun-county-sheriff-investigating-multiple-incidents-of-inappropriate-touching-in-middle-school\/\">underway<\/a> in Loudoun County since last week by the sheriff\u2019s office after multiple reported incidents of a male student touching other students inappropriately at a district middle school.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"7.7430555555556\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">LCSO is investigating multiple incidents that occurred at Harmony Middle School this week involving a male student touching other students inappropriately over their clothing. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/SI2rdaPEjm\">https:\/\/t.co\/SI2rdaPEjm<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/WHBhUkxrIJ\">pic.twitter.com\/WHBhUkxrIJ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Loudoun County Sheriff (@LoudounSheriff) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LoudounSheriff\/status\/1453836630587060233?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 28, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>News of the investigation came only two days after high school students in the scandal-ridden school district held a walkout in support of other sexual assault victims. The students left the school building chanting, \u201cLoudoun County protects rapists.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The walkout occurred one day after a Loudoun County judge&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tech\/2021\/10\/26\/teen-found-guilty-of-forcible-sodomy-in-loudoun-county-school-girls-bathroom-attack\/\">found<\/a>&nbsp;a boy guilty of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl in May. The boy was wearing a skirt and entered the girls\u2019 bathroom at Stone Bridge High School.<\/p>\n<p>Juvenile Court Judge Pamela Brooks found&nbsp;the boy, who is also a minor, guilty of forcible sodomy and forcible fellatio. The boy has also been&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wusa9.com\/article\/entertainment\/television\/programs\/get-up-dc\/students-and-teachers-in-loudoun-county-plan-to-walkout-of-class-in-support-of-sexual-assault-victim\/65-5617d315-9586-41ce-8ab7-29a130f1f3e5\">charged<\/a>&nbsp;with another, more recent, sexual assault in October of another girl at Broad Run High School.<\/p>\n<p>Scott Smith, whose daughter was assaulted during the first incident, had been dragged out of a school board meeting and arrested on June 22 after hearing school officials supportive of transgender bathrooms deny there had been reports of sexual assaults in these spaces.<\/p>\n<p>LCPS Superintendent Scott Ziegler also stated he was unaware of any assaults happening in the bathrooms.<\/p>\n<p>However, as Breitbart News reported, Ziegler later&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tech\/2021\/10\/16\/loudoun-county-school-superintendent-admits-failed-effort-to-provide-a-safe-environment-left-wing-board-member-resigns\/\">acknowledged<\/a>, following parents\u2019 outrage, the school district has \u201cfailed\u201d to provide safety for its students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Virginia Attorney General-elect Jason Miyares (R) announced Thursday he plans to investigate sexual assault incidents in the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS).
