id=\"ob-read-more-selector\" readability=\"42.722249388753\">\n<p>Former FBI agent Peter Strzok appeared on \u201cThe Rachel Maddow Show\u201d Thursday night to voice concerns over the criminal indictment of Igor Danchenko, a Russian analyst who contributed to a dossier of Democratic-funded research into ties between Russia and Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>Danchenko\u2019s indictment is the third in two months from Special Counsel John Durham\u2019s investigation.&nbsp;Democrat lawyer and former federal prosecutor Michael Sussmann of Perkins Coie, a law firm for Hillary Clinton\u2019s presidential campaign, was&nbsp;indicted <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/16\/lawyer-democratic-indicted-lying-fbi-russia-john-durham-donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in September<\/a> by a federal grand jury&nbsp;for lying to the FBI during a September 2016 meeting with then-General Counsel James Baker.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m certainly concerned when I read these indictments,\u201d Strzok told Maddow. \u201cThey have subtle dog whistles to these kinds of pro-Trump conspiracy theories,\u201d he continued, claiming that there was \u201cnever an FBI investigation of the Trump campaign.\u201d<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/05\/18\/fbi-crossfire-hurricane-leaks-donald-trump-russia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>(RELATED: How The FBI Used \u2018News Hooks\u2019 To Advance The Trump-Russia Probe)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe indictment makes a point to note that the FBI was unable to corroborate Steele\u2019s reporting,\u201d Strzok claims, \u201cbut, at the same time, it neglects to mention that we weren\u2019t able to disprove it either. &nbsp;The one-sided portrayal of the facts \u2026 that this was all somehow nonsense \u2026 is concerning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Strzok went on to say that he believes this indictment is \u201cseeking to lay out a false narrative about the entire effort of what the FBI and Special Counsel [Robert] Mueller did.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2018\/06\/14\/strozk-well-stop-trump-presidency\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Strzok: \u2018We\u2019ll Stop\u2019 Trump Presidency)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Durham\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/europe-russia-arrests-john-durham-9d2344081036235309346ad95b14a8bc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">indictment<\/a> says Danchenko misled the FBI by denying that he had discussed any allegations in the dossier with longtime Democratic operative, Charles Dolan, Jr. In fact, the indictment indicates that Dolan, a volunteer for Hillary Clinton\u2019s 2016 campaign, had been the anonymous source for one or more allegations from ex-British spy Christopher Steele\u2019s dossier.
