Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) has sounded the alarm on buried policies in Joe Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/build-back-better\/\">Build Back Better<\/a> agenda. On Thursday, the Tennessee Republican stressed that usually lawmakers do not use budget reconciliation bills to reform immigration policies.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Providing amnesty for illegal immigrants is not the fix for a border crisis, yet <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/POTUS?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@POTUS<\/a> and the Democrats won\u2019t let up on including it in their reconciliation package.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Sen. According to Blackburn, Biden snuck this policy into the budget bill because he knows it would not get passed otherwise.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u201cThere is a process to go through to change law,\u201d she stated. They (Democrats) know this would never pass on its own, so they are putting it in and are going to try to get this provision through the budget bill. We want to get the word out on it.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In the fiscal year of 202, U.S. authorities detained more than 1.7 million migrants along the Mexico border.
