How many other \u2018so called\u2019 world leaders would embarrass their citizens like our prime eejit does?\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/11\/03\/fact-check-image-private-planes-climate-change-cop26\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Does This Image Show Dozens Of Private Jets At The UN\u2019S COP 26?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A reverse image search revealed the picture wasn\u2019t taken in Scotland and actually predates the Canadian prime minister traveling to Glasgow for COP26 by roughly 6 years. The photo shows Trudeau as he \u201carrives at the Glengarry Highland Games in Maxville, Ont., on Saturday, August 1, 2015,\u201d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpimages.com\/CS.aspx?VP3=DamView&amp;VBID=2RLQ2J4HVPEO6&amp;SMLS=1&amp;RW=1708&amp;RH=769&amp;FR_=1&amp;W=1450&amp;H=922\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">its caption<\/a>. It <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpimages.com\/CS.aspx?VP3=DamView&amp;VBID=2RLQ2J4HVPEO6&amp;SMLS=1&amp;RW=1708&amp;RH=769&amp;FR_=1&amp;W=1450&amp;H=922\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">can be viewed<\/a> on the Canadian Press Images website, where it is credited to photographer Justin Tang.<\/p>\n<p>That year\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/glengarryhighlandgames.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Glengarry Highland Games<\/a> took place in Ontario a couple months before Trudeau <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ykIFQsDaou8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">became<\/a> Canada\u2019s prime minister. In October 2015, his Liberal Party secured enough seats in the Canadian federal elections to form a majority government, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news2\/interactives\/results-2015\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CBC News<\/a> reported.
