Bill Hagerty (R-TN) and Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN):<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"7\">\n<p>Buried in the \u201cBuild Back Better\u201d legislation \u2026 are several jaw-dropping immigration provisions that would sell out American workers for the benefit of the largest and most influential corporate interests.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a wolf in&nbsp;sheep\u2019s clothing, and the sheep is in a hula skirt so you focus on the skirt and not the wolf underneath,\u201d said a Hill source who opposes the immigration expansions.<\/p>\n<p>The bill offers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/10\/29\/democrats-migration-bill-rewards-hiring-discrimination-against-us-graduates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fast-track green cards<\/a>&nbsp;for just $5,000 to at least one million foreign temporary contract workers already in the United States. Those green cards would let them permanently work in the United States and also become U.S. voters in five years.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The green card giveaway would drain wealth and political power from the 800,000 Americans who graduate each year with technology-intensive degrees in healthcare, business, math, science, engineering, and science.<\/p>\n<p>Those green cards also would not count against the nation\u2019s roughly one million annual cap on legal immigrants.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_18618394\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"33\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2021\/11\/GettyImages-913763590.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-18618394\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GettyImages-913763590-1024x708-1.jpg\" alt width=\"990\" height=\"684\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Immigrants receive assistance with their U.S. citizenship applications at a Citizenship Now! event in New York City. (John Moore\/Getty Images)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Once the existing workers get their green cards, they will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/12\/03\/ceos-expand-green-card-workforce-u-s-jobs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">be quickly augmented<\/a> by the next wave of low-wage, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/06\/26\/ex-google-chief-uses-top-tier-immigration-claim-to-sideline-u-s-college-graduates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mid-skill<\/a> foreign graduates who are recruited by the Fortune 500\u2019s dangled promises of more fast-track green cards.<\/p>\n<p>This migration process would allow many CEOs to do what they prefer: Subordinate a generation of outspoken U.S. graduates under a vast supply of clever and subordinate foreigners who will rationally work&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/10\/29\/democrats-migration-bill-rewards-hiring-discrimination-against-us-graduates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">as lower-wage, compliant, indentured employees<\/a>&nbsp;to get their life-changing green cards.<\/p>\n<p>The green-cards-for-cash law will establish structural discrimination against millions of Americans graduates,&nbsp;said Rob Law, at the Center for Immigration Studies. It will be \u201cinherently impossible [for U.S. graduates] to compete [for jobs because] the foreign workers will always accept less pay because they also get the incredibly lucrative benefit of permanency in the United States,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>This green-card-for-cash rule would also allow millions of other poor <a href=\"https:\/\/cis.org\/Report\/Immigration-Multipliers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chain migrants<\/a>&nbsp;to buy their way into Americans\u2019 society, housing markets, jobs, and schools, at a price of just $2,500 per family. The bill exempts these chain migrants from the annual caps, despite the huge economic impact on Americans and legal immigrants.<\/p>\n<p>This flood of poor migrants would deliver millions of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/09\/18\/white-house-amnesty-cuts-wages-but-not-for-the-longer-run\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wage-cutting workers<\/a> to minimum-wage employers. It would also provide millions of government-aided consumers to real estate companies, retailers, groceries, and government agencies \u2014 and so drive up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/06\/16\/new-yorks-mayoral-rivals-vow-cheap-housing-plus-more-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">housing prices<\/a> for nearly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/10\/13\/nytimes-suburban-de-zoning-doubles-housing-prices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">all Americans<\/a> and their children.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Up to now, much of Washington D.C. has been trying to not mention the legislation that the Niskanen Center described as \u201cthe largest update to our immigration system in 30 years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/img-0.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18618266\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/img-0.png\" alt width=\"767\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The White House\u2019s two-page \u201cStatement of Administration Policy\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/SAP-H.R.-5376-Build-Back-Better-Act.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hides the ball<\/a> with a one-sentence reference: \u201cThe bill also includes important reforms to our legal immigration system, which will help reduce visa processing backlogs.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>House Democrats bury the giveaways in complex language on <a href=\"https:\/\/rules.house.gov\/sites\/democrats.rules.house.gov\/files\/BILLS-117HR5376RH-RCP117-18.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">page 869<\/a> of the 2,135-page document, in a section titled \u201cSEC. 60003. ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Democratic legislators and lobbyists are hiding the giveaway behind a television-magnified, brass band of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepChuyGarcia\/status\/1456303208339488778?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ethnic advocates<\/a> and elite-funded groups. These groups are keeping the media focused on illegal migrants by loudly urging an amnesty for millions of illegal migrants, via the much-publicized amnesty <a href=\"https:\/\/cis.org\/North\/Biden-Administration-vs-Senate-Parliamentarian-Plan-C-Parole\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Plan A<\/a>, the amnesty-by-registry&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/09\/20\/amnesty-army-readies-plan-b\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Plan B<\/a>, and amnesty-by-parole <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/10\/14\/democrats-plan-c-amnesty-diverts-wealth-to-coastal-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Plan C.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re trying to keep everyone focused on whether or not they\u2019re getting amnesty to illegal aliens,\u201d said one Hill source. \u201cIn the meantime, they are rewriting our entire immigration system to create a permanent underclass of Americans that can\u2019t compete for jobs and will have no upward mobility.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reporters <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DLind\/status\/1455941250918584329?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hide the ball<\/a>, often unwillingly. The <em>New York Times<\/em> only&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/10\/28\/us\/politics\/spending-plan-bill-biden.html?searchResultPosition=4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>&nbsp;the plan would \u201callow green card applicants to pay higher fees to expedite their processing. The&nbsp;<em>Washington Post<\/em>&nbsp;only&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/immigration-democrats-reconcilitaion\/2021\/11\/02\/b40ac03c-3b89-11ec-a67c-d7c2182dac83_story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> the bill would \u201celiminate certain penalties that would allow people who applied legally to the United States for citizenship to receive their naturalization faster.\u201d&nbsp;A<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/carolinesimon66\/status\/1455983346706751497?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> tweet<\/a> from <em>Roll Call<\/em>&nbsp;just said, \u201cthe green card recapture\/application fees provisions that have been in the previous two House texts remain in the bill.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>D.C. journalists are not following the money, the legislation, or the power plays, said a Hill source. \u201cAll the theater majors out there are so happy to write and retweet these stories that have nothing to do with what\u2019s in the bill, but which show someone\u2019s story of struggle that the Democrats are going to save,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n<p>House <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ReichlinMelnick\/status\/1455288096178810891?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Republicans<\/a> are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruz.senate.gov\/newsroom\/press-releases\/sen-cruz-rep-stefanik-urge-sec-mayorkas-and-biden-administration-to-enforce-federal-immigration-laws-as-illegal-immigrant-caravan-approaches-us-border\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">not looking<\/a> for the green-cards-for-cash plan, but instead prefer to <a href=\"https:\/\/roy.house.gov\/media\/press-releases\/zero-border-state-democrats-join-effort-oppose-amnesty-funding-spending-bill\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chatter about the rush of migrants<\/a> at the border.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_16907426\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"35\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GettyImages-1324824439.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16907426\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GettyImages-1324824439.jpg\" alt width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Migrants board a bus to be taken to a border patrol processing facility after crossing the Rio Grande into the U.S. on June 21, 2021 in La Joya, Texas. Once settled in California or along the East Coast, they will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/08\/13\/zuckerbergs-data-says-amnesty-gives-economic-windfall-coastal-democratic-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">absorb job-creating investment<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/09\/14\/democrats-amnesty-skews-fed-aid-coastal-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">taxpayer spending<\/a>&nbsp;that would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/04\/02\/sen-manchin-endorses-cheap-labor-amnesty-for-the-children\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">otherwise go to Americans in heartland states<\/a>, such as Sen. Joe Manchin\u2019s West Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the House, they never do anything but chase the latest squirrel,\u201d scoffed a Hill source.<\/p>\n<p>Yet the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/04\/democrats-latest-amnesty-creates-subservient-workforce\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">growing pushback<\/a>&nbsp;from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/04\/sen-blackburn-democrats-amnesty-invites-endless-cheap-labor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">three outspoken<\/a> GOP Senators \u2014 plus the shock of the GOP\u2019s Virginia win \u2014 is helping to force the green-cards-for-cash giveaway into the open.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDemocrats have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to modernize the existing U.S. immigration system,\u201d said a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NiskanenCenter\/status\/1456301958512398343?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">November 2 letter<\/a> to four Democratic Senators, ostensibly from a broad series of ethnic lobby groups, such as the Asian American Advocacy Fund or Sakhi for South Asian Women. The letter continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"9\">\n<p>Presently, there are over 4 million [people] in the family-based backlog and over 1 million individuals currently stuck in the employment-based backlog \u2026 Provisions in the House reconciliation bill would provide an exemption from annual and per-country limitations upon the payment of a supplemental fee \u2026<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A close read shows that the letter is not signed by some of the major groups for migrants, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/unitedwedream.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">United We Dream<\/a>&nbsp;or <a href=\"https:\/\/wearecasa.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Casa<\/a>. Not is it signed many of the groups in the progressive-funded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wearehome.us\/#partners\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WeAreHome.us<\/a> campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, the letter is signed by proxies for many billionaires \u2014 Mark Zuckerberg\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2013\/04\/11\/fwd-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FWD.us<\/a>&nbsp;group of West Coast investors, Mike Bloomberg\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newamericaneconomy.org\/about\/members\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New American Economy<\/a>,&nbsp;<span class=\"povykd\"><span class=\"JPfdse\">Laurene Powell Jobs\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marieclaire.com\/politics\/a22716448\/laurene-powell-jobs-emerson-collective-immigration-reform\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Immigration Hub<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/technet.org\/membership\/executive-council\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Silicon Valley<\/a>\u2018s TechNet.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>These Fortune 500 employers, investors, and real-estate companies will likely gain many billions in stock-market wealth if the bill becomes law. It provides them with a huge inflow of lower-wage, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/06\/26\/ex-google-chief-uses-top-tier-immigration-claim-to-sideline-u-s-college-graduates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mid-skill<\/a>,&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/10\/29\/democrats-migration-bill-rewards-hiring-discrimination-against-us-graduates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">foreign college-graduate employees<\/a>&nbsp;plus millions of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/10\/30\/democrats-push-100-billion-giveaway-economic-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">taxpayer-aided<\/a>, blue-collar chain-migration consumers.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"povykd\"><span class=\"JPfdse\">The signers also include numerous groups that are funded or boosted by these billionaires.
