Until it Comes to Vaccine Mandates\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iSqt41QQIKM?start=223&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p>Jacobson first asked students if they were pro-life or pro-choice to which the overwhelming majority identified as pro-choice.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>\u201cI\u2019m pro-choice, I think women have the right to decide what they want to do with their bodies, and also you never know the situation,\u201d one student said.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cPro-choice. I don\u2019t think that I have a right to force my decision on someone else\u2019s body,\u201d another student explained.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI\u2019m pro-choice and the truth is that no one is in your body but you and it\u2019s your life that you have to live,\u201d a third responded.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span> \u201cWould you agree with the idea of my body my choice?\u201d Jacobson asked one student.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cOf course, yeah. Once you get a certain age you kind of know what is good for your body and what\u2019s not good for your body, and you can make decisions based on that,\u201d she replied.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>Jacobsen then asked the students if they are for or against government vaccine mandates.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI\u2019m for it. I\u2019m vaccinated,\u201d said the student who had just endorsed the concept of \u2018my body my choice.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>\u201cI would say that I guess I am more for a mandate if it is in support of the general health of the population,\u201d another student responded.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI would be okay with the vaccine mandate,\u201d a third student said, while another stated, \u201cI agree with government mandates.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Jacobson followed up with a student, asking, \u201cWhat happened to the \u2018my body my choice\u2019 argument in that circumstance?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>\u201cI feel like that\u2019s regarding, well I guess, hmm. You kind of caught me that was really good\u201d she laughed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>One student who identified as pro-choice held a similar philosophy regarding the government vaccine mandates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201c<\/span><span>I would have to say against, because like I said you can\u2019t tell me what to do,\u201d the student said. \u201cYou can\u2019t be pro-choice and not approve of people\u2019s choices. You know what I mean? It\u2019s a choice.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jacobson then asked students, \u201cI<span>sn\u2019t the government telling you what you are doing with your body by instating a vaccine mandate, would you agree with that?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>&nbsp;\u201cYes, I think so, but sometimes the baby hasn\u2019t even been fully developed yet, the woman is fully developed so she should have a choice,\u201d said one student.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cSo then fully developed humans should also have the choice to get a vaccine?\u201d Jacobson asked, to which the student responded \u201cyes\u201d after a long pause.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI do understand that like a mandate is kind of contradictory to my body my choice,\u201d one student said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>She went on to add, \u201cI<\/span><span>f I\u2019m here saying my body my choice for abortion, that also would go with a vaccine mandate.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI mean we\u2019re all adults here pretty much we can make the decision what we want to, whether or not if we want to get vaccinated, if we want to get the abortion,\u201d one student replied after previously endorsing mandates.&nbsp; \u201cIt is your body your choice.
